Lauren graduated from the Victorian College of the Arts in 2011 as part of the inaugural Bachelor of Music Theatre class.  She has extensive experience both on and off the stage and is passionate about being a positive role model to emerging performers.  Lauren has worked Australia wide as a director, creative collaborator and acting coach.  Directing credits include; Songs for a New World (adapted by Lauren for a cast of 50) at Brisbane Academy of Music Theatre,  Resident Director of Melbourne's favourite new immersive theatrical experience, MAD WORLD,  Artistic Director of the premiere staged reading of Aeneas: The Musical by Madeleine Nicole Hale at Melbourne's Recital Centre and Resident Director of The Australian Music Theatre Workshop and The Youngharts Network Creative Convention around Australia featuring Rhonda Burchmore, Marina Prior, Silvie Paladino and Christine Anu.  In Assistant Director roles, Lauren has worked on Third World Blues with Company Eleven (dir. Margot Fenley) and VCA’s West Side Story (dir. Martin Croft).  Other creative projects include musical staging for The Sound of Music for Pymble Ladies' College and choreography for the Newington College productions of Oliver!, Spamalot and Guys and Dolls at Nida’s Parade Theatre.

Lauren's onstage credits include; Martha/Ms. Fleming in the original Australian cast of Heathers (ShowWork Productions), Tracy Turnblad in Hairspray Arena Spectacular Tour (Harvest Rain), Jan in the recent arena tour of Grease (Harvest Rain), Rose Smith in Meet Me in St. Louis (Hayes Theatre Co./Neglected Musicals), Babette in La Cage Aux Folles (TPC), Gwendolen in The Importance of Being Earnest (Citizen Theatre) and swing (U/S Susie/Leanne/Sally) in the original Australian Cast of Puffs or: Seven Increasingly Eventful Years at a Certain School of Magic and Magic (TEG Live).  Lauren won the Sydney Theatre Award for Best Newcomer in 2015.  Lauren is a proud member of Actors Equity and is represented by Working Management. 


Her Melbourne based business, "Coach Me, Lauren!" assists training, pre-professional and working artists refine their acting skills and polish their audition technique.
